EXPERT TRAINING PROGRAMS

Expert programs in Orthopedic Manual Therapy are born of the need to train cutting-edge professionals in this specialty, with higher standards of clinical reasoning and integration, both in scientific knowledge and in teamwork with other biomedical careers.

TMO EXPERT: TEMPOROMANDIBULAR ARTICULATION

Under construction.

TMO EXPERT: SOFT TEJIDOS

This complete training in the evaluation and management of myofascial conditions, is born of the need to provide the Kinesiologist with more and better tools of work, through the understanding of the ontogenetic development of the tissues and the normal condition of these, to the normal condition of these, to the development of different treatment strategies, such as manual myofascial release, instruments, dry needle techniques and eco-guided procedures.

TMO EXPERT: VERTEBRAL COLUMN

Program developed with the collaboration of renowned foreign teachers, with a modern scheme of approaching the normal and dysfunctional condition of the Vertebral Column, focused on the resolution of the most recurrent pathologies of the Kinesiologist’s clinic.

This program is composed of four modules (130 hours of chronological hours plus hours of self-study), which considers all kinds of approaches, from the understanding of embryology and development, to arrive at clinical assessment and reasoning, applying techniques of neurodynamics, myofascial release, low- and high-speed mobilizations, as well as stabilization and motor control as an ultimate goal.

TMO EXPERT: EXTREMITIES

This program has been developed according to international standards, seeking the greatest integration of knowledge, from the
examination by segmental surface palpatorial anatomy, function from activation patterns and kinematic chains, as well as the evaluation and treatment of normal and dysfunctional dynamic conditions.

Through its 140 chronological hours, special importance is given to the integration, so to the study and management of the condition of the limbs are added the techniques of high speed-low amplitude, training and proprioception and a final unit of Posturology, as an integrative means of both segmental and global management.
