MOTOR CONTROL AND STABILIZATION OF VERTEBRAL COLUMN

This three-day seminar (30 academic hours), addresses the therapeutic exercise and motor control in cranio-cervical-mandibular and cervical spine dysfunctions, as well as the lumbopelvic relationship, in light of the available scientific evidence and with a strong clinical component .
Program
First day

– Neurophysiological basis of Therapeutic Exercise and Motor Control

– Review of current scientific publications that justify its approach

– Classification of the active system and its correlation with the integrity of other systems

– Specific orthopedic tests for cervical spine disorders

– Classification of movement disorders in the cervical spine

– Specific tests for the analysis and functional assessment of dysfunction

– Correlation of the results with the subjective evaluation

– Proposal for intervention for the different cervical spine alterations

Second day

– Intervention and treatment with exercise in alterations of the cervicocranial-mandibular component

– Pain, sensory changes and alterations in motor control in the lumbopelvic region

– Review of current scientific publications that justify its approach

– Specific orthopedic tests for lumbopelvic spine disorders

– Classification of movement disorders in the lumbopelvic spine

Third Day

– Specific tests for the analysis and functional assessment of dysfunction

– Correlation of the results with the subjective evaluation

– Proposal for intervention for the different alterations of the lumbopelvic spine

– Directional patterns of clinical instability

– Motion and functional and structural instability test

– Planning and progression of active therapy

– Progression in training: static, dynamic, functional

– Final evaluation

– Conclusions, requests and questions
